Decriminalization 2020

Drug abuse is a
public health issue,
not a crime.

It’s time to end the war on drugs.

In 2017, over 1.6 million people were arrested in the US for drug law violations. 85% of those arrests were solely for drug possession.

There’s no evidence that these arrests are helping solve our country’s drug problem. In the long run, sending more people to prison increases the overall crime rate.

We’re running
initiatives to
drug use.

Ballot initiatives are a proven way to improve US policy at the state level. We’re working to organize drug decriminalization ballot initiatives in 2020.
